On 20 December 2016 we will begin rearrangement works of the cloakrooms, ticket windows and the main entrance will begin. During that time entrance to the Copernicus Science Centre will lead through the Conference Centre (the middle entrance). All directions and information will be displayed around the building – you will simply need to follow the arrows.
We want to provide all our visitors the highest possible comfort during their visits. Our goal is to improve the visual identification system in order to facilitate moving around the Centre’s building. But that’s not all!
After the rearrangement works, we will change the rules of entrance and introduce e-tickets so that you don’t have to stand in the queue anymore. There will be QR code scanners in the entrance zone for the visitors to scan their tickets (printed or on a smartphone screen).
We are also changing our store and bistro, both of which will remain closed for the period of rearrangement works. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and sandwiches — we have set up a relax zone, where you can eat them or buy something (if you forget to bring food or drinks with you). I the vicinity of the Copernicus Science Centre there are also a lot of cafes and restaurants to choose from.
The works, which are another phase of bigger changes we are introducing, will finish in February 2017. The first rearrangement phase — implemented on the 1st floor and the New “World on the Move” gallery — ended in 2016.
