A new class running from 27 September to 8 March.
Styrofoam: small balls that cling to everything when electrified. Used as building insulation, polystyrene foam is also good for making cups, ornaments, and toys. And it consists mainly of… air! For the chemist, it is a solid foam, that is a gas dispersion in the solid state – the air in polystyrene (plastic). What can we do to get polystyrene foam balls? Just boil the polystyrene! But how?… Come to the chemistry lab and find out with your own eyes!
The classes are taught only in Polish.
