Topic of a lab starting on September 20, 2016.
One of the competitions during mobile robots tournaments are races of line followers, i.e. robots that move along a black line. During our lab, we’ll programme such robots. At the same time, you’ll have a chance to find out how such mobile robots are constructed, how they work and what they are used for. We’ll also show you the robot programming language, including conditional instructions.
An important element of an engineer’s work are mathematical skills, above all basic elements of logic. Therefore, we have prepared two versions of robot programming, depending on the participant’s maths knowledge:
During our lab workshops, we develop important skills of cooperation and team work. You will be divided into two-member teams and together you will make decisions, work on more precise robot’s activities, its pace of movement and sensor indications.
Whoever builds a robot which is fast and furious and not afraid of very narrow turns or long straights and unexpected slips – wins our race!
