“It is an award for Warszawa for creating a unique facility that specialises in interactive scientific and cultural education. Last year, the centre was visited by more than one million Poles” – this says the text on the diploma we received as winners in 2012 Top Utility Investments. The contest was announced by the Portalsamorzadowy.pl website and the Polish Society for Supporting Enterprise (PTWP) Group, organiser of the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
From among more than one hundred applications to the 2012 Top Utility Investment contest from all over Poland, local government representatives, economists, managers and experts have selected ten most development-oriented investments implemented for the benefit of the economy, region and residents. The Copernicus Science Centre was among the winners along with projects enlarging the road, tourism and sports infrastructure.
