The 8th edition of the biggest educational event in Poland is approaching. The aim of the event, this year under the honorary patronage of the Copernicus Science Centre, is to popularise the aviation and aerospace industry sector in Poland, and promote engineering professions. We invite all enthusiasts of aviation, aircrafts, space, science and technology, all we as everyone who is interested in the world and likes to spend their free time actively. There are a lot of attractions waiting for visitors, including live shows. The Night in the Institute of Aviation is a unique occasion to test some cutting-edge aviation and aerospace technologies, as well as meet with pilots and specialists representing different fields of science and technology.
To use a telescope, first you have to get familiar with how it works. Together, we will learn and test the device. If the weather permits, we will take a look at some cosmic objects. All workshop participants will receive an individual certificate with the Copernicus Science Centre seal confirming their newly acquired skill of handling an amateur telescope.
Learn the ins and outs of the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium. Everyone will have a chance to explore the Solar System, nearby planets, stars and edges of the Universe. During the flight, we will tell you more about celestial objects we’ll be passing by.
Looking at the cardboard with the illustration of the Solar System and a distant star, around which the planet rotates, we will talk about Space. The task for visitors will be to place planet models on relevant orbits, so that planets are arranged in the correct order.
