On 22nd March Copernicus Science Centre and University of Warsaw signed a cooperation agreement.
Both institutions decided to join forces for a more effective promotion of science. Their joint collaboration projects will include the organisation of ECSITE conference (European Network of Science Centres and Museums) and International Collegiate Programming Contest, the development of IT infrastructure in the Copernicus building, as well as development of curricula and lesson plans on science communication and popularisation.
Copernicus will support the University in organising practical training and internships, science popularisation and communication. On the other hand, University will enable Centre’s employees and collaborators to participate in conferences, meetings, lectures and selected courses. It will also support Copernicus’ statutory activities, in particular those intended to inspire social dialogue on science
