Przemiany Live! 2016

With artists from all over the world and a combination of different styles and diversity – join us at another edition of the extraordinary music project Przemiany Live! Apart from presenting the electro music stars from the West, such as Kangding Ray and Objekt, we pursue our exploration of the East – thus the presence of Motoblok from Ternopil and Moa Pillar from Moscow. We also want to support our local music bands and so we have invited an amazing duet Widt to our Festival.

#Kangding Ray
The main highlight of the festival. For a number of years now, he has recorded for an electronic music record label – the legendary Raster-Noton. As a leader of avant-garde techno, he has contributed to the genre’s revival and popularity. He is currently promoting his latest album, Cory Arcane.

#Objekt
An astonishing mix of techno, garage, noise, acid, dubstep, bass-core and shithouse… Each song represents a different style and pulsation. This young Brit is linked with the Berlin’s music scene, but has already gained recognition and fame in Poland. He played at the Unsound Festival in Cracow (2014) and Tauron Festiwal Nowa Muzyka in Katowice (2015).

#Moa Pillar
This is likely to be the Festival’s true revelation. Fedor Pereverzev, aka Moa Pillar, is a representative of the young, Russian electro scene, a winner of the Sergey Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award, who records for Full of Nothing. His original compositions, described as “spiritual bass techno,” are based on long, hypnotic passages and massive base lines. They also contain elements of ethnic and shamanic music.

#Motoblok
The name features a Ukrainian artist, curator and promotor – Yaroslav Kachmarskyi – founder of the Pincet record label and director of the Hamselyt electro music festival in Ternopil (since 2012). His pulsing music – despite its rhythmicity – has a fair share of dirt, glitch and industrial elements.

#Widt
A duet composed of sisters – Antonina Nowacka and Bogumiła Piotrowska. Their audio-visual sets comprise psychedelic rhymes that clash with Piotrowska’s analogue visualisations and disquieting vocalisations by Nowacka. The duet hit the headlines when a British magazine The Quietus placed their album entitled Point#3 at the 23rd place on the list of the most interesting 2015 albums in the world!

#Electric Indigo
A Austrian artist, composer and feminist activist. Active on the music scene for over 25 years, she has been second to none in combining elements of pop and avant-garde culture in her artistic creations. She has played for both mass audiences (e.g. during the Love Parade) and for smaller crowds (during alternative music festivals) in over 37 countries so far!
