Breakfast by the River

What should we eat to improve our quality of life? Is there really such a thing as a longevity diet? Join us at the picnic and healthy food market, featuring meetings with diet and eating culture experts.

USTA Magazine invites you to join BREAKFAST BY THE RIVER

Lecture, 12.00 p.m.
The lecture entitled “The power of food – myths and legends concerning superfoods” will be led by Magdalena Tomaszewska-Bolałek – orientalist, alimentary culture researcher, director of postgraduate Food Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, winner of the first Grand Prix for Poland during the international Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Discussion, 1.00 p.m.
Let’s talk together about the role of food in our lives. Can we delay ageing by following a proper diet? We have invited scientists, dietitians, anthropologists and senior citizens to take part in the discussion and share their nutritional habits and experiences.

Show, 2.00 p.m.
Culinary show by Michał Gniłka (Mickey Rotten) – a chef and a vegan, who will present three dishes based on fermentation, seaweed and mushrooms.

We will invite vendors who offer super healthy food that improves the quality of living. Our Festival menu will feature, among other, superfoods, cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices, matcha, seaweed and nori sandwiches.
