Deoxyribonucleic acid is an organic chemical compound that carries genetic information in all living organisms.
During the workshop, you will discover how double helix is built and organised, what it consists of, how it can be used in the gene therapy and what other applications of DNA the scientists are currently working on.
The workshops and the installation are part of SYNENERGENE project – developed at Copernicus Science Centre Biological Laboratory – that focuses on responsible research and development of Synthetic Biology, a new and fast growing discipline of biological research.
