During the Sound Wave concert we will present the most interesting phenomena of the electronic scene where dance rhythms are combined with field recording, easy listening and minimal electro. On Friday the following artists will perform:
- Mika Vainio
One of the most important experimental musicians. The founder of the legendary duo Pan Sonic. He belongs to industrial and noise music scenes and is known for mixing analogue warmth with electronic starkness.
- Jan Jelinek
Producer and composer. His works are classified as minimal techno, glitch or microhouse. He mixes electronic music with dance music, often using jazz motives from the 1960’s and 1970’s.
- Thomas Köner
The pioneer in multimedia art, who experiments with combining audio and visual experiences. Winner of such awards as Ars Electronica, Transmediale Award, Best Young Artist at ARCO.
- Jacek Sienkiewicz
