Participants of the Wytwórnia FabLearn Lab are coached by a facilitator, who leads them through the educational process using the design thinking method.
All participants define problems individually and then together look for ways to solve them. Next, using the ‘trial and error’ approach, they design and construct a prototype that could be a solution to the earlier identified problem, and test it. In a team they consider its efficiency and compliance with expectations, and try to improve it if necessary. They use top-notch technologies along the way, which makes the whole process more attractive and gives multiple opportunities for project implementation.
Individual hands-on work positively impacts personal involvement and knowledge-acquisition process based on personal experience. It also helps everyone believe in themselves and their capabilities. All participants gain equal chances for development, and cooperation of people from different backgrounds is a driving force for inclusion and diversity.
