Visitors can race against the human heart, discover the limits of their own sense of hearing, and become a lightning-tamer – boredom is virtually impossible at the Experiment! exhibition.

Experiment! is the first exhibition to be organized by the Copernicus Science Centre. It consists of 25 interactive games and experiments from various fields of science: physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. The stations are designed to be fully safe while allowing visitors to perform the set experiments on their own, in order to gain a better understanding of a specific natural phenomenon. Each station offers a short explanation of what visitors are observing, and additional information is provided by "explainers" manning the exhibition.
Experiment! is a travelling exhibition – it is easy to assemble, tear down, and transport from one place to another. It can be set up in a school auditorium, at an urban cultural centre, or in a rural meeting hall. It made its premiere appearance at the Warsaw Science Picnic in June 2006, where more than 10,000 individuals visited it in a single day, waiting in long lines to try out the exhibit stations. Since September 2006, it has been travelling around large cities and small towns to give their residents an opportunity to try out the hands-on experiments on their own.
The Experiment! exhibition offers a chance to spend time in an intriguing fashion, to learn about the laws of nature while above all having a good time – regardless of one's age. Parents and grandparents with preschoolers, school-aged children, and college students will all find something of interest to them. The exhibition likewise provides an interesting option for teachers, as a supplementary activity helping to demonstrate how the laws of nature work in practice or to illustrate what it is like to work as a scientist.
