Traffic disruptions near Copernicus Science Centre 3 October 2026

On Saturday, 3 October, the Biegnij Warszawo race and the accompanying Maszeruję-Kibicuję event will take place. The race route runs in the immediate vicinity of Copernicus Science Centre, so traffic disruptions and changes to public transport services are expected during the day.

Traffic disruptions near Copernicus Science Centre

Most streets along the race route will be closed at around 11:00, with traffic expected to resume at around 14:30.

The closures will include, among others:

  • Tamka Street,
  • Świętokrzyski Bridge – carriageway towards Praga-Północ,
  • Świętokrzyska Street from Mazowiecka Street to Kopernika Street,
  • Kopernika Street from Bartoszewicza Street to Ordynacka Street,
  • Solec Street from Ludna Street to Dobra Street,
  • Wybrzeże Szczecińskie from Świętokrzyski Bridge to Poniatowski Bridge.

Pedestrian crossings and cycle crossings along the race route will also be closed. Crossing the route will only be possible at locations and times indicated by the police or event stewards.

Changes to public transport

Due to the road closures, some Warsaw Public Transport bus services will be diverted. Between approximately 11:00 and 14:30, changes will affect, among others, bus routes: 106, 111, 116, 117, 118, 127, 146, 147, 158, 162, 166, 180, 503, 507, 517 and 521.

Separate changes will also apply earlier in the day to routes operating in the Myśliwiecka and Łazienkowska area.

How to get to Copernicus Science Centre

If you are planning a visit on Saturday, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey and checking the latest public transport information before setting off.

A convenient option will be to take Metro Line M2 to Centrum Nauki Kopernik station.
