Program of the event

The Copernican Revolution Lab is a new facility, situated right next to the Copernicus Science Centre building, that provides an R&D space open to everyone who wants to help further the advancement of education and science. Here we will jointly create solutions to support the development of competencies of the future: exhibitions, exhibits, lesson plans, interdisciplinary projects, events. In one location, educational R&D projects can be implemented from start to finish: from the original idea, through prototyping, all the way to the finished product. We hope that the Lab will become a true creative melting pot, where bold ideas will be transformed into innovative solutions.

We invite you to come have a look around! We look forward to having the chance to showcase our capabilities and infrastructure.

13.00-16.00 The Copernican Revolution in practice – getting to know the Lab’s spaces and areas of activity:

  • prototyping of exhibits for the Copernicus Science Centre
  • “Living Lab” research stations (science communication and data acquisition zone)
  • educational solutions/exhibits designed by teachers and scientists (partners of the Copernicus Science Centre)
  • educational kits (joint presentation with the Consortium Partners of the Copernican Revolution Lab – My Bambino and BeCREO Technologies)
  • educational solutions that address the special needs of learners
  • the laboratory spaces and workshops of the Copernican Revolution Lab building
