The Winning Initiatives Announced!
We now know the winners of the 2nd edition of the Przewroty Award—a recognition given to bold and innovative educational initiatives.
In the nationwide category, the winner is the "Counseling During Menopausal Transition" advanced training course for midwives, implemented by the Kulczyk Foundation in partnership with the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives and the Warsaw District Chamber of Nurses and Midwives.
In the local category, the Youth Activity Center in Krosno, an initiative by the Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in Krosno, was honored.
Additionally, a Special Award was given—a distinction from the Copernicus team for individuals collaborating with the Centre, inspiring others with their daily commitment to education. This was awarded to Adrianna Kaczmarek, director of the Rawicz Public Library, which hosts the Discovery, Imagination, and Activity Zone (SOWA), a local science center.
The laureates received financial support (20,000 PLN each in the local and nationwide categories and 10,000 PLN for the Special Award) as well as the Przewroty Award statuette.
