In the evening, the children go to bed. And the adults to Copernicus! This is the case on the last Thursday of the month, from September to June, when we invite you to unique meetings for adults only. Interesting themes, demonstrations, workshops, art actions, music and a bar await you.

Stunning projections of the outer space on the dome, twilight, comfortable armchairs, true relaxation... Sounds tempting? If it does, welcome to the Planetarium! A visit there will be a perfect break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We offer multimedia and film screenings, live concerts (from classical music to jazz and electronic music), talks by scientists (once a month in the ‘Straight from the Sky’ series) and laser shows.

Here you will find exhibits for grown-ups that help you learn about and understand the challenges of the modern world. They reveal the impact of technology on our lives, the dangers of the climate crisis and the opportunities for medical development. However, this doesn’t mean that the exhibition is serious all the time. We also offer a van Gogh-style photo shoot, an encounter with a Neanderthal and a chat with the world's most advanced intelligent humanoid robot, Ameca.

Immerse yourself in the world of mirror reflections! This is a place to experiment with light and optics, to explore how images are created and how optical illusions affect our perception. Simple physical phenomena surprise you here with elegance and precision, and each experience allows you to look at reality from a new angle.

In the exhibition, you will explore the phenomena of symmetry, see your reflection from a surprising perspective and learn about optical phenomena related to light reflection. It’s an opportunity to take a break for a moment, trigger your curiosity and discover that science can be as fascinating as the reflections in the mirror.

It’s a place where you can take on engineering, construction, science and logic challenges using everyday objects, such as paper, paper clips, sticks, rubber bands and balls. No precise instructions, no grades, no time limits. Here, everyone can discover for themselves how to make it work.

It allows us to understand how dynamic science and the innovations that follow it are already profoundly affecting our lives. The programme includes interesting meetings with artists and experts, engaging debates and expert panels, exhibitions, art installations and performances, as well as films and concerts.

Nasze Planetarium oferuje szeroki i niezwykle różnorodny program. Możesz tu w ciszy i spokoju usiąść, przyjrzeć się gwiazdom i planetom, słuchając prelekcji o otaczającym Ziemię Wszechświecie. Możesz obejrzeć powstałe w studiu Kopernika, wielokrotnie nagradzane filmy: „Na skrzydłach marzeń” (lektorką jest Danuta Stenka, muzykę napisał Michał Lorenz) oraz „Halo Ziemia” (lektorem jest Zbigniew Zamachowski, muzykę napisał Jan Duszyński).

Zwykle w Koperniku panuje gwar i hałas, lecz raz w miesiącu jest tu znacznie ciszej i spokojniej. „Wieczory dla dorosłych” to wydarzenia odbywające się po standardowych godzinach otwarcia – od 19.00 do 22.00, bez dzieci. Podczas Wieczoru możesz wziąć udział w specjalnych warsztatach, obejrzeć pokaz w Planetarium i wysłuchać wykładów ekspertów, a przy eksponatach i eksperymentować w gronie samych dorosłych. Wszyscy zwiedzający są pełnoletni, a więc mogą się uraczyć piwem rzemieślniczym – każdy Wieczór to inny zestaw z polskich małych browarów.
