After the usual visiting hours Copernicus is open at night for adults only. The Copernicus theme evenings are organized in co-operation with Samsung - the strategic sponsor for Copernicus Science Centre.

Visit us on given Thursdays once a month. Every evening is a special event. Each has a different main theme. All of them offer entertainment, interesting programme and innovative approach to science. We have ideas suitable both for fans of humanities and exact sciences. Everything is close to real life and up-to-date. Apart from visiting our galleries, we offer additional activities: workshops, movie screenings, shows, games, lectures, meetings with experts, concerts and alcohol beverages.
Every evening consists of 10-30-minute interactive entertainment activities, happening simultaneously in different parts of the Centre. The Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium also has a different schedule: you will see live sky displays, centered around the theme of the evening.

“I, Robot” is coming in July!

On Thursday, July 18, we invite you to another Evening for Adults. During this special holiday event, we will take you into the future! We will talk about artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity and social sciences in the context of robots.

Tickets cost PLN 50 and can be purchased after logging in to our website.

PLEASE NOTE: All Evening for Adults attractions except those listed below will only be available in Polish.

Lectures in the Auditorium will be simultaneously interpreted into English. Headphones will be available to pick up before entering the Auditorium.

Have you noticed that a loud noise always accompanies electrical discharges?! How can the flow of electrons cause it?

During the show, you will see two Tesla transformers. These devices were built based on the theory formulated by that great inventor. However, instead of traditional solutions, modern electronics were used in them. This makes it possible to influence their work and the sounds caused by the high voltage they generate. Come see and hear a million volts that will tune into our play!

Caution: Due to the possibility of disruption to medical device operations (pacemakers, insulin pumps, hearing aids, etc.), people using such devices should not participate in shows and workshops at the High Voltage Theatre. The show is also not recommended for pregnant women and people with epilepsy.

The adaptation of Stanisław Lem’s story is a tale full of passion, humour and violence featuring a beautiful but puckish princess and a noble prince with a heart of gold who is in love with her. Come and see the story in the daring interpretation of third-generation RoboThespians.

Protagonists will be speaking with the voices of Piotr Fronczewski, Tomasz Kozłowicz, Magdalena Różczka, Marian Opania, Wiktor Zborowski and Artur Dziurman.
