Happiness on Four Paws – June 25

Who really runs this household? Beza, Terry, Mruczek, Pusia. Whether we admit it or not, our dogs and cats often hold the top spot in the family hierarchy. To us, they are the smartest, most beautiful, and most wonderful creatures in the world.

As proud members of Homo sapiens, we try to manage stress with sophisticated apps, self-help guides, breathing techniques, massages, and relaxation exercises. Yet sometimes all it takes is a perfectly timed purr, a wagging tail, or an endearing head tilt to make us feel instantly better.

Could it be that dogs and cats have simply learned to “hack” our reward system, securing their place alongside a species that is supposedly in charge? What is the true nature of the bond between humans and animals, and where do its biological foundations lie?

During our June Lates 18+, we will explore the many dimensions of our relationships with companion animals. We will look at their therapeutic role, discuss responsible pet adoption, and examine how nutrition affects the quality of life of our four-legged friends. We will also discover how the microbiomes of household pets influence their behaviour and, ultimately, our shared well-being.

Chillout Zone

On the ground floor, from 6:45 PM to 10:00 PM, "Piwo z Chmielarni" (Beer from the Hop Farm) is available. This is an opportunity to try craft beer on tap. Each evening features a different, new selection of beers – always fresh and original, chosen from the current offerings of the best Polish microbreweries.

You can also visit the café located on the first floor.

Live Music

Throughout the evening, music will be provided by Kuba Kozak – a cultural animator, host, DJ, vocalist, and beekeeper.

In his DJ role, he plays with conventions, organizing the musical backdrop for numerous events, including parties at Mokotów's DZiK and Balkan Potupajki.
