Who can buy tickets without waiting in line?

Priority access to the ticket desk is granted to:

• visibly pregnant women,
• persons with disabilities (with official proof of disability).

Please note: we do not accept ZUS retiree or pensioner ID cards as valid documentation for priority access.

You cannot leave strollers in our cloakroom, but you may enter the Exhibitions area with them. Restrictions only apply to the High Voltage Theatre and the Robotic Theatre. And if you wish to enter the Buzzz! exhibition, please leave the stroller just outside of the area.

Unfortunately, we do not accept tourist vouchers.

No, you cannot move your visit to another date. You can make a return and buy tickets for the new date. See the rules for Returns.

No. Tickets are sent to your email inbox. You can simply scan the printed ticket or the QR code displayed on your smartphone at the gate reader to enter the Exhibitions — no need to stand in line.

Is it possible to rent an exhibit?

Yes, it is possible to rent an exhibit but not just a single one. We rent our mobile exhibition.

The “Captured Mind” exhibition was created because of the immense popularity that the first travelling exhibition of the Copernicus Science Centre enjoys.

Is it possible to rent science shows?

Currently, the CSC offers science shows that can be rented for schools, conferences, picnics, festivals and team-building events. Our science shows are a combination of experiments, scientific knowledge and a bit of humour. Each show is a series of thematically grouped experiments that engage the audience, and the show’s level of difficulty and form of presentation is adjusted to the age and preferences of the audience. It is a perfect offer for all those who like ambitious and extraordinary entertainment.

Is it possible to rent a room at the Copernicus Science Centre?

The Copernicus Science Centre has its own Conference Centre, which is located in the central part of the building. More information.

To what extent is it possible to establish cooperation with the Centre?

Companies interested in cooperation may be partners of the Centre as regards development of the galleries and co-creation of programs and workshops for visitors. As part of the partnership, it is possible to take care of a particular exhibit.

Are there any guide-books in foreign languages?

All information is available on the website, which is also accessible in Ukrainian and English. We do not print informational materials in order to care for the environment.

In what languages are the descriptions of the exhibits available?

In Polish, English, and Ukrainian.

Do the explainers speak English or any other foreign languages?

Most explainers speak English at a communicative level. Many of them also know other languages: Russian, French, German or Spanish. Some of them also communicate in the sign language.

Are the Planetarium shows delivered in foreign languages?

All movies and shows are available in English, and some in Russian. They include: Earth, Moon, Sun; Dream To Fly; Polaris; Black Holes. Journey Into Unknown; Astronaut 3D; Dawn Of The Space Age; Secret Of The Cardboard Rocket; The Journey To Billions Of Suns; Natural Selection: Darwin And The Greatest Of His Secrets.

To receive your language version, ask for a relevant headset in the ticket office before the screening. Each visitor can rent a headset after submitting an ID with a photograph, e.g. student’s ID, driving licence, etc. in order to provide all relevant personal data (name, surname, address of residence, personal ID No. or passport No.) or paying a deposit in the amount of PLN 300. Once the headset is returned, all the provided data is erased.

Damaging or losing a headset is subject to a fine of PLN 1,300, which is the value of each headset.

• What is the minimum number of people in a group?
  A group must include at least 11 people.

• How many group reservations can be made at once?
  You may make up to 3 group reservations, with no more than 77 people in each.

• How many free chaperone tickets are included?
  For every 10 paid group tickets, the group receives 1 free ticket for a chaperone.

All tickets are available online. At the ticket desk, you can only purchase tickets that are currently available online for that specific day. Group tickets cannot be purchased at the ticket desk.

We strongly recommend planning your visit in advance and buying your tickets online. This way, you can avoid unnecessary waiting and disappointment in case tickets are already sold out when you arrive. All available tickets are listed online. The ticket desk only sells those tickets that are also visible in the online system — both for the current day (if any remain) and for future dates (we sell tickets several months in advance).

How to buy tickets online?

Tickets for individual visitors and groups can be purchased via our online system up to 1.5 hours before the event or entry time. Payments can only be made through the PayPro system.

At the ticket desk in the building, you can purchase:

• tickets that are also available online for the current day (availability is shown in the online system), or
• tickets for entry within the next 1.5 hours (these will not appear online anymore);
• advance-sale tickets for a future date, if available in our online system (tickets are sold several months ahead);
• tickets for individual visitors only (up to 10 tickets per person).

Group tickets are not sold at the ticket desk.

Ticket purchase via hotline:

Organized groups can make a reservation by calling the hotline at +48 22 596 41 00, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The reservation is confirmed upon payment via bank transfer within 7 days.

Telephone reservations are not available for individual visitors.

At times, reaching our helpline can be indeed quite difficult. This is especially true in April and May, when we provide tickets for very crowded dates. If you cannot reach us by phone, please send us an e-mail to info@kopernik.org.pl. We will answer you in the shortest possible time. And if you just want to buy tickets to Copernicus, use our purchasing website: bilety.kopernik.org.pl. The website works flawlessly and you can buy tickets directly there, without having to contact the helpline in this matter.

When purchasing your ticket online or at the ticket desk, you select an entry time. You may enter the Exhibitions within a time window from 30 minutes before to 60 minutes after your scheduled entry time (after that, tickets expire). This means that if your ticket is for 3:00 PM, you may enter between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM.

This rule does not apply to the Planetarium or laboratory sessions, where everything starts on time, and late entry is not permitted.

What happens if I’m late to a laboratory session (group classes or MiniLabs)?

We kindly ask that you arrive at the lab session 10 minutes early, as latecomers will not be admitted. The session begins with a safety briefing, which must be strictly followed. Arriving late and missing this part means you cannot participate in the session. In such cases, tickets for group lab sessions are forfeited.

If an entire group is late to a laboratory session, can it be shortened to still use the tickets, even with less time?

Unfortunately, sessions cannot be shortened. Each session is built around a specific narrative and is designed to make full use of the two-hour duration. The experiments presented are closely connected. Skipping parts would break the logical and educational continuity of the session.

Yes, all Samsung employees can enter the Exhibitions, but it is only possible if the Visitor limit inside the building was not reached. You might need to wait a little, until a few Visitors leave.

We are aware of the fact that some travel agents promote their services by promising the CSC tickets. However, you should bear in mind that nobody can sell tickets to the CSC for the dates that have not been announced yet. All tickets for new dates are made available at the same time and under the same conditions for everyone. In case of doubts, please check your reservation number by sending us an email at info@kopernik.org.pl

There are no guides at the Copernicus Science Centre. However, you can seek the assistance of the explainers working in every gallery. They are our experts, science enthusiasts, who are willing to explain the operation of the exhibits and talk about scientific phenomena. It is worth to benefit from their presence. Feel free to ask them about anything you wish. The explainers are dressed in red.

Yes. It is located to the left of the entrance to the building. You can leave your belongings in the self-service lockers (you need a 2 PLN coin, which will be refunded when you collect your items). The locker dimensions are:

• Height: 95 cm
• Width: 40 cm
• Depth: 40 cm

There is no luggage storage at Copernicus.

Organized groups leave their belongings in a cloakroom specially prepared for them. Items are received and handed out by a staff member. The cloakrooms in this part of the building are open during the Center's working hours.

A separate cloakroom is located in the Planetarium.

Are the Planetarium shows delivered in foreign languages?

All movies and shows are available in English, and some in Ukrainian and Russian. To receive your language version, ask for a relevant headset in the ticket office before the screening.

How to get to the Planetarium?

The Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium is located in a separate building, at the back of the Copernicus Science Centre, on the bank of the Vistula River. Entrance to the Planetarium faces the Świętokrzyski Bridge.

How long is a show at the Planetarium? Jak wygląda seans w Planetarium?

Can I buy tickets to the Planetarium together with the tickets to the Centre?

Yes, but only if both tickets are for the day on which the purchase is being made (subject to availability).

Czy mogę wejść do sali z małym dzieckiem?

Prosimy, aby do Planetarium nie przyprowadzać dzieci młodszych niż trzyletnie. Mówi o tym regulamin oraz nasze doświadczenia: maluchy źle znoszą panującą na seansach ciemność, hałas i nadmiar bodźców wizualnych.

W przypadku wyjścia z sali (np. do toalety) nie ma możliwości powrotu na seans.

Jak wybrać seans w Planetarium?

W planetarium znajdują się filmy dla najmłodszych widzów, np. „Pod jednym niebem” (już od 3 lat) oraz filmy dla starszych, np. „Polaris” (od lat 7), czy „Halo Ziemia” i „Na skrzydłach marzeń” (od lat 10). W programie mamy też koncerty muzyki klasycznej, elektronicznej i jazzowej, a także multimedialne pokazy prowadzone przez naukowców.

Co jeszcze można zobaczyć w Planetarium?

W planetarium można obejrzeć dostępną dla wszystkich, bezpłatną wystawę „Patrz: Ziemia” . Dokładne obejrzenie całej wystawy zajmie około 1,5 godziny. Opowiada ona o obserwacji Ziemi z kosmosu i wykorzystywaniu zebranych w ten sposób danych.

Dlaczego muszę być punktualnie w Planetarium?

Seanse w Planetarium ogląda się najlepiej, kiedy w sali projekcyjnej jest zupełnie ciemno. Inaczej część wyświetlanych gwiazd jest niewidoczna.
Ze względu na bezpieczeństwo i komfort widzów – nie wpuszczamy do sali projekcyjnej osób spóźnionych (żeby nie zakłócać odbioru i nie wpuszczać światła).

• Prosimy odbierać bilety na 10 minut przed seansem i być przed salą projekcyjną kilka minut przed rozpoczęciem seansu.
• Prosimy o niewychodzenie z sali w czasie seansu.
• W przypadku opuszczenia sali nie ma możliwości powrotu na seans.
• Po rozpoczęciu seansu nie ma możliwości wejścia do sali projekcyjnej.

Czy w Planetarium jest jakiś punkt gastronomiczny?

W związku z pandemią koronawirusa i zarządzeniem Rady Ministrów kawiarnia w Planetarium jest zamknięta.

Czy można nagrywać, fotografować lub filmować seans w Planetarium?

Pokazów ani filmów nie można rejestrować nie tylko dlatego, że są objęte prawami autorskimi, a także dlatego, że każde źródło światła zakłóca ich przebieg. Prosimy też o wyłączanie na czas seansu telefonów komórkowych. W sali musi być zupełnie ciemno.

Yes. Each person purchasing a reduced-price or free ticket should carry a document confirming their discount eligibility (details regarding different discounts are listed on the ticket pricing subpage.)

All children below 2 years of age can enter Copernicus for free – you do not need to purchase a ticket.

At the Copernicus Science Centre, there are permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, and over 400 exhibits. Additionally, with the ticket price, you can visit the Robotic Theatre, High Voltage Theatre, Thinkatorium, see robots at exhibitions, take part in activities in laboratories, scientific demonstrations, or workshops in exhibition spaces. For children up to 5 years old, there is the Bzzz! exhibition, and for youth and adults, we recommend the Future is Today exhibition. On weekends (and during holidays throughout the week), Mini Labs are held in laboratories – these activities are intended for visitors over 9 years old.

Additionally, group activities in laboratories and shows in the Planetarium are available for an extra fee.

Some of the attractions at Copernicus are available free of charge. The Planetarium hosts an exhibition with free admission. Next to Copernicus, you'll find the Discovery Park, featuring several exhibits and a pleasant recreational area. There's also a Rooftop garden open from May to October.

For our youngest Visitors, we have a special exhibition called Buzzz!, and dedicated shows in the Planetarium, e.g.. "One World, One Sky", "Polaris", and "Lucia. The Secret of Falling Stars."
