“That Joke Seems Contrived” improvised spectacle

We’ve reached a point where artificial intelligence can do a great deal for us: it acts as our culinary advisor and family doctor, helps us manage our finances, plans our trips, writes emails…

There is, however, one thing that algorithms still don’t handle very well: a sense of humour. Often situational, not devoid of context, spontaneous, and even improvised.

Is humour too human a thing, as yet beyond the reach of algorithms?

Parsque du hehe

Parsque du hehe is a Warsaw-based theatre improvisation group. It creates unscripted comedy performances inspired by suggestions from the audience.

Karolina Norkiewicz, Paweł Banaszczyk, Ewa Senk and Kasia Szymańska are improvisers with many years’ experience gained on stages in Poland and abroad.

In Warsaw, you can see them at venues such as the Comedy Club and Resort Komedii, amongst others.
